What's Not to Like? Memory of the Forest by Kacey Wong & Students

To say why we like it would take too long.  So here it is.  In bullet points.

  • Memory of the Forest, a project commissioned by the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation
  • Collaboration between Kacey Wong and school students conveys the catastrophic consequences of deforestation
  • A series of large scale wooden structures made from waste wood depicting the maimed forms of animals.
  • Hollow, fire-blackened interiors allowing the visitor to literally see through the eyes of the animal.
  • Opens 4 May until 23 May 2010
