The Material Culture Index is a work in progress and relies upon the contribution of friends, colleagues and members of the public to provide photographs of objects that they have recently acquired and that hold cultural significance for them.  Once the Index has reached a critical mass, guests will be invited to share their impressions and conclusions upon the nature of contemporary culture.
